The short version: we do not sell your details, we do not run a mailing list, and an enquiry is a conversation about your job rather than an entry on a list.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form — the job details and the contact details you choose to give us. It is used to answer your enquiry and nothing else. It is not sold, and it is not passed to a lead broker.

Cookies and local storage

A small amount of data may be kept in your own browser to remember interface preferences; it never leaves your device and clearing your browser data removes it. The site also sets a Google Analytics cookie — see Analytics below.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It records the page you viewed, a rough location derived from your IP address (which is truncated before storage), and general device and browser details. It does not receive anything you type into the enquiry form. Google's explanation is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Advertising

This site carries advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on that activity.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices. Advertising is kept off the enquiry pages entirely.

Advertising is what pays for the research on this site. It has no influence on what the cost pages say — the figures and the method behind them are set out in full under Sources & method.

Hosting and fonts

Pages are served by Vercel and typefaces by Google Fonts. Both necessarily receive your IP address in order to deliver the page, as any web host does.
